- A discerning person keeps wisdom in view, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.
- Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all of your might. Planning. Knowledge. Wisdom.
- The plans of the diligent lead to profit.
- Folly delights a person who has no sense, but a man of understanding keeps a straight course.
- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
- Make each day your masterpiece.
- Do not do what you hate.
- You are responsible for helping yourself.
- Work as hard as you possibly can on at least one thing and see what happens.
- They must deny themselves and take up their cross daily.
- Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
